NCCJ Launches 2007 – 2008 Community Conversations
NCCJ launches a new season of Community Conversations on Race and Poverty .
In recognition of the growing need to address the separation that exists between groups based on race, ethnicity, economics and culture, NCCJ has established a program designed to promote public dialogue and help bridge these gaps. Based on the belief that collaboration and democratic participation are the keys to successful community building, NCCJ’s Community Conversations help participants deepen their understanding of other’s perspectives, discover common ground, and increase the potential for cooperating with others to solve common economic and social problems.
For upcoming Conversation Sessions in your neighborhood, there is a compete listing in our Events Calendar.
